What happens when your life is still moving, but your soul is slowly being suffocated? In this message, we look at how the cares of life, money, work, family, comfort, fear, and even good things can become thorns when they begin taking the place that belongs to God. Through a personal hospital experience, the parable of the sower in Matthew 13, the neglected vineyard in Proverbs, and Jesus’ words in John 15, we discover that being overgrown does not erase our purpose but it can limit our fruitfulness. God isn’t simply calling us to remove what’s choking us; He’s inviting us to make room for the right things to grow. Because what you tolerate today may eventually choke what God wants to grow tomorrow.
