Lift Your Eyes

In life's the perspective we adopt determines how we navigate our lives. Our spiritual eyes can grow weary from fixating on problems and obstacles. Yet, the remedy lies in lifting our gaze heavenward, recognizing that our help comes from the Lord who reigns over heaven and earth. The story of blind Bartimaeus in Mark 10:46-52 illustrates this truth vividly. Though physically sightless, Bartimaeus possessed spiritual insight, recognizing Jesus as the Son of God amidst the crowd's acclaim and distractions. Similarly, we're urged not to let external voices shape our lives disproportionately, for only Jesus holds the rightful authority to guide our paths. Let us, therefore, lift our eyes to the mountains, looking to Jesus with gratitude and trust on our journey of faith.
